FIXD: IPhone 6 Plus Doesn't Display Failure

1. Use specific disassembly toolkit to tear down the iPhone 6 plus and remove the motherboard.

2. Measure the iPhone 6P chip solder plate with Fluke 15B+ digital multimeter, we find nothing is abnormal.


3. Install the display chip and buckle the screen to measure, the booting current jump is somewhat abnormal.

4. We can see the backlight behind the screen is bright, the measurement of +5.7V power supply is only about 2.2V, -5.7V has no voltage. As show in picture 16-6-1 and picture 16-6-2.

5. We estimate the display chip internal boost exists problem, and the WUXINJI dongle circuit diagram shows that the capacitor C1554 energy storage booster capacitor is short circuited.

6, Remove the damaged capacitor by QUICK 861DW Hot Air Rework Station and replace with a good capacitor carefully.

7. The iPhone 6 Plus screen shows normal now.
