How To DIY Replace damaged iPhone X battery - Do You Know?

First Step

Power down iPhone X, remove the SIM card from SIM Card Tray.

Second Step

Use screwdrivers to remove the bottom two 6.9 mm pentalobe screws located next to the Lightning connector, and then we can use QUICK 861DW to gently blow the phone to heat it, so that we can open it easier.

Third Step

Use OP Plus screen Sucker to slightly separate the screen from the back of the iPhone, insert a triangle opening tool to cut the adhesive and remove the iPhone X display assembly carefully from the back shell. Because the display assembly is still connected to the iPhone by cables, so don’t try to remove it entirely just yet.




Fourth Step

Remove the five Y000 screws securing the logic board connector bracket, and then remove the bracket, display assembly, speaker and Taptic Engine.

Fifth Step

Because the iPhone X dual cell battery has 4 adhesive pull-tabs, please grab the first tab and try to keep the adhesive strip flat and wide. Slowly and gently pull each strip up and away from the iPhone X. Keep pulling until they come out from between the battery and the rear case.
