iPhone 6 Plus WIFI won't turned on & WIFI grayed out Issue

We Know, The iPhone 6 Plus WIFI won't turned on, It's a problem that many people are obviously facing, but no one can tell you exactly how to solve the problem. So, we invited professional VIP Pro Shop Team to give us detailed instructions on how to solve this problem quickly. 



Before we going to fix iPhone, we need to check it again. Get into IOS, we found the Wi-Fi address in “about iPhone” displays “unknown”, and the WIFI button is grayed out, it cannot be turned on.

Fist, disassemble the iPhone and remove the iPhone motherboard, we found the iPhone WiFi chip has been replaced and there are enameled wires under solder pad. Considering it should be caused by the solder pads are not handled properly or the WiFi working condition is not satisfied. Remove the Wi-Fi chip directly and measure the diode data of each pin on solder pad. Comparing with normal motherboard, the measured data is normal.

After removing WiFi, the measured diode data of PCIE bus is infinite. We can only measure whether the circuit is connected between PCIE bus and coupling circuit C0703, C0704, C0705, C0706, C0720, C0721.

After measurement, we found the circuits between solder pad and coupling circuit C0704, C0705 are open circuits. Open the WUXINJI Dongle to check iPhone circuit diagram, we found the circuits between solder pad and C0704 and C0705 will pass PP3169_RF and PP3166_RF.

Now we directly connect solder pad and test point with enameled wires, then paint oil. Reassemble Wi-Fi chip and test after power on. The Wi-Fi address still displays “unknown”. Remove Wi-Fi chip again and measure the diode data of all pins on solder pad. We find the previous repaired places still in breakage. It connects or disconnects sometimes. In PCB bitmap, find the resetting pull-down resistance R0719. Directly use QUICK 861DW to place enameled wire from resetting pull-down resistance.



After finish the soldering jump wire, install the iPhone wifi ic to motherboard, and then assemble the iPhone. Turn on iPhone and get into IOS to test, the WIFI address can be displayed properly, and the wifi can be turned on smoothly.
