FIXD: iPhone6 Plus White Apple Logo Stuck On Screen

For an iPhone6 Plus user who has an iPhone 6 Plus with white Apple logo stuck on screen failure, how to quickly resolve this issue, read the following article and you will get the most complete solution.


Connect the iPhone 6 with DPS Digital DC Power Supply to measure the booting current, the value is jumping from 200Ma, then jumps to 1A, at last, it becomes a fixed current 300mA, according to the previous repair experience, this situation is mostly caused by USB problems, to judge whether it’s the iPhone 6 USB problem, we need to firstly check if it can be online in recovery mode, so we connect the iPhone 6 on computer and open Ace assistantant, we found the iPhone is not online.

Disassemble the iPhone 6 motherboard to remove the USB chip and measure the booting current again, it is still jumping from 200mA, so we can judge the USB chip is not damaged, it should be the problem of USB power supply.



Use Fluke 15B+ digittal multimeter to measure the power supply grounding value around USB, we found the PP3V0_TRISTAR/PAC_VDD_3V0 is short circuited to the ground. By checking the iPhone 6 bitmap on WUXINJI Dongle, we get to know the power supply is sent from main power supply and through USB, fingerprint boost chip and U5411_RF. It's unlikely to be the power failure, so we remove off the fingerprint boost chip to check, the same fault is not solved.

Since then, we remove the U5411_RF, because PP3V0_TRISTAR/PAC_VDD_3V0 is powered by L5408_RF to U5411_RF, in order to measure whether it's caused by the U5411_RF, we have to first remove the L5408_RF, then we measure the booting current again, the starting current value is normal now, reinstall the USB back.

Finally we find the faulty part, what we need to do is to replace a new U5411_RF part with QUICK TR1300A Hot Air Station and precision tweezers. 

Assemble the L5408_RF and fingerprint boost chip. 

Install the iPhone 6 to test, all functions are normal now!
