How to Resolve the iPhone 8 Stuck on Apple Logo

1. The first step is disassembly. Using the titanium alloy tweezers to disassembly the phone and disconnect the battery, remove the display assembly.

2. Check whether the iPhone LCD display assembly is damaged or not. Disassembly the Home Button and check whether the home button flex cable is damaged or not. 

3. Replace the new display assembly, and get the Home Button mounted on the new display assembly. Buckle the new display assembly to the logic board. Then power on.

If the iPhone still gets stuck on Apple logo and can't boot up completely, maybe we need change thinking. Preliminary judgement, the Home button malfunction resulted in iPhone 8 stuck on Apple logo issue.


4. Disassembly the LCD display assembly. We observe with the microscope and find the J5800 has the obvious repairing marks, so we can have the connector J5800 replaced for a try.

5. Remove the iphone logic board and attach it to PCB Holder. Stick connectors next to J5800 with high temperature adhesive tape. Apply some BGA solder paste flux to the and take down J5800 with Hot Air Gun.

6. Use the Solder Iron to solder tins, and clean with PCB Cleaner afterwards. Wait for the logic board to cool for 5 minutes and check its soldering situation. 

7. Reinstall the logic board and connect the battery and the display assembly, then power on iPhone 8.

9. When the Touch ID can't work, the last step is restoring again via iTunes. Once finished, activate the phone again. Touch ID back to normal this time.
