DIY Repair: How to Fast replace the iPhone 7 Screen

We Know, when you accidentally dropped your iPhone,Broken iPhone screens are ridiculously common, many people cannot avoid this situation. It is a wise decision that you send the broken iPhone to repair shop when you can't repair. Now I will give short guide for iPhone screen repair.

1. At the iPhone 7 bottom find the two pentalobe screws and remove it using a pentalobe screwdriver.

2. Put a suction cup on the above the Home button, and gently try to remove from the rear casing.

3. If necessary, use a pry piece to break the seal of the adhesive and pry the display from the rear casing.

4. Remove the four screws to free the display plate. Then use tweezers to lift the display plate away.

5. Use the spudger tool to pop off the three LCD connecting cable strips.

6. Unscrew two more tri-point screws at the iPhone top.





7. Remove the plate over the proximity sensor reveal one more cable strip that, when disconnected, will free the front display from the back of the phone.

8. Remove the three Phillips-head screws from the bracket behind the speaker at the top of the display side, and pull away revealing the iPhone 7 camera.

9. Pull back the camera to remove the two screws holding in the ear speaker assembly. Lift the ear speaker out.

10. Gently wiggle and pull up on the proximity sensor to remove it.

11. At the bottom of the display side, locate the iPhone touch ID assembly.

12. Unscrew the four tri-point screws holding down the bracket. Remove bracket.

13. Gently wiggle to remove iPhone touch ID. Then remove the LCD back-plate by unscrewing six, tri-point screws.

14. Using spudger tool, lift up the LCD back-plate to reveal the cable strip connected to back-plate.

15. Once you free the LCD back-plate of the cable, it should disconnect easily. Discard your damaged LCD and replace with the new screen.

16. Continue to follow the steps in reverse to reassemble the phone.
